Tottenham Hotspur have decided to sign Dejan Kulusevski (23).
Britain’s ‘Daily Mail’ reported on the 13th (Korean time), “Tottenham plans to sign Kulusevski completely this summer when his 18-month lease ends.”
“Tottenham had an obligation to sign Kulusevski for 31 million pounds (about 52 billion won) if they finished in the top 4 of the league at the end of this season and advanced to the Champions League. There is an option to bring in Ski and we want to activate it.”
Kulusevski wore a Tottenham uniform through the winter transfer market in the 2021-22 season. His contract method was an 18-month lease, and the rent was 8 million pounds (approximately 13.3 billion won). A complete transfer clause was also inserted. After the 2021-22 season, it was 25 million pounds (about 42 billion won), and after the 2022-23 season, it was 31 million pounds (about 52 billion won). In particular, in the case of the 2022-23 season, a mandatory transfer is triggered when Tottenham acquires the right to advance to the European Football Federation (UEFA) Champions League (UCL).
As of now, the mandatory transfer clause of ‘Advance to UCL’ has become meaningless. Tottenham is in 6th place in the English Premier League (EPL) with 17 wins, 6 draws and 12 losses (57 points) until the 35th round. Because it was 6 points away from the 4th place, it was virtually difficult to get a UCL ticket.
Tottenham wants to sign completely under different conditions. England’s ‘Football London’ said: “When Tottenham signed a contract with Juventus, it included two conditions regarding the full signing of Kulusevski. “We also have the option to sign Kulusevski even if the agreed targets are not met, all for £30.5 million over five years,” he explained. In other words, Tottenham is to activate the ‘selective transfer option’. 토스카지노
Italian revenge media have put forward the prospect that Kulusevski may return to his home team Juventus this summer, but according to ‘Football London’ and ‘Daily Mail’, it is believed that he will continue with Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Kulusevski performed sensationally in the second half of last season, recording 5 goals and 8 assists in the EPL. However, he has been lackluster this season. Although he produced quite a few offensive points with 2 goals and 6 assists, he recorded poor stats in 2023 with 1 goal and 1 assist.
