KIA Tigers general manager Jang Jeong-seok announced his intention to resign voluntarily due to a recorded file containing the circumstances in which he demanded back money during FA negotiations with catcher Park Dong-won.

However, it seems likely that a truth battle will take place in the future.

According to what the KIA club found out, general manager Jang Jeong-seok, who had a close relationship with Park Dong-won since the days of the Nexen front desk, jokingly said during the FA negotiations with the intention of ‘let’s make a good contract’.

However, it is known that Park Dong-won’s side accepted it differently than Jang Jeong-seok’s intention.

The club found out the facts and reported the matter to the Clean Baseball Center. In addition, the club’s own disciplinary committee will be held to make a final decision on the matter of moving forward. The team judged that general manager Jang Jeong-seok had crossed the line even though he was close to Park Dong-won.

Jang Jeong-seok, who has accumulated experience in various fields such as front desk, director, and broadcast commentator, made a big contribution to KIA’s advance to the top 5 last year, his first year in office. 스포츠토토
