Former DB coach Lee Hyo-sang (52) will lead a professional team in Mongolia.

Lee retired a year after joining the unemployment team Samsung Electronics in 1994 alongside Sono Kim Seung-ki. He went on to coach Naksaenggo, the women’s team at Kookmin Bank, Yongsan Middle and High School, and Korea University before assisting Lee Sang-bum as DB’s head coach. A little over a year ago, the former coach moved to Mongolia and took the helm of Eto’ken University in the Mongolian University League.

The team, which was ranked fourth in the league at the time, has grown since Lee’s arrival and reached the top of the table this season. In recognition of his leadership, the former coach was named head coach of Bison in the Mongolian Pro League. He has experience coaching high school basketball, women’s basketball, college basketball, professional teams, and overseas.

“I coached at Etukhon University for two seasons,” said Lee. Bison is the sixth best team in the eight-team Mongolian Pro League. I will do my best to make Bison a 스포츠토토 championship team as well.”

Meanwhile, the former coach will lead the Etukhon University players to Korea to play a practice game against Sono at Hongcheon Sono Vivaldi Park New Gymnasium on the 15th and 16th of this month. “I promised the players that I would take them to Korea if they won the championship,” said the former coach. We won the championship, so we came to Korea together this time,” he smiled.
