The Los Angeles Dodgers have taken game one of the doubleheader.

The Los Angeles Dodgers rallied for a 3-1 victory in game one of a doubleheader against the Miami Marlins at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday.

It was 1-0 heading into the seventh inning. Caleb Ferguson pitched a scoreless first inning and Ryan Peppiott pitched a scoreless second and third.

After the offense was held scoreless by Miami starter Yuli Perez, Peppiott gave up an infield single to Jake Berger with one out in the top of the fourth and a Brian De La Cruz double down the left field line.

He got out of the inning without allowing another run. But the offense couldn’t get going, until the bottom of the eighth.

After a scoreless sixth inning by Miami starter Perez and a scoreless seventh inning by second starter Andrew Nardi, the Dodgers were able to get to Miami’s third starter, David Robertson.

In the eighth inning, after leadoff hitter Chris Taylor flied out to center field, James Outman drew a walk and Kike Hernandez singled to left center to put runners on first and third.

Austin Barnes laid down a sacrifice bunt. The Miami first baseman’s choice to catch Barnes’ bunt was the outman diving for home, but the throw was off. Barnes scored from first, the outman crossed home plate, and the game was tied 1-1.

A throwing error by the Miami first baseman allowed Hernandez to advance to second and Barnes to advance to third. With runners on second and third, Mookie Betts lined a double to left-center to tie the game. 메이저사이트
